​Wonderful apartment in Central Jerusalem​

Our family had a beautiful stay in this very central apartment on Rav Kook street. The location can’t be beat! Walking distance to the light rail, Jaffa street, Ben Yehuda street, and all of the local sites including the Kotel and Machane Yehuda (the Shuk).  The apartment was fully stocked with everything one could need for a stay and even some extras that were very much appreciated. The welcome fruit basket and wine were a treat! Both Alan, the host, and Vongi, the property manager, were responsive throughout the reservation process and the check-in. A truly 5-star experience!

Nice Apartment in great location

The apartment is how it appears online. We had six of us and there was plenty of space and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you will need and it was spotless. The location can't be beat. It is a one minute walk to Jaffa street where all the restaurants, grocery stores and shops are but the apartment is mostly free from street noise. Ten minute walk to the Machane Yehuda Market and a similar walk time to the old city. The one challenging thing is the dryer is super slow by U.S. standards. It is small unit and takes about 90 minutes to dry each load. We tried every setting so assume this is normal for Israel. If you have a lot of laundry like us then you need to allocate a fair amount of time. I believe the limited English speaking doorman said there is a laundry room in the building but it was Shabbat so it was closed. but not certain. Other than that it was a great place to spend in Jerusalem!

A Gem in Jerusalem

We stayed for 4 nights - my wife and I along with our children ranging from ages 5 to 17. The owner, Alan, was very gracious and accommodating, and the managers Donnie and Yiftach were very helpful. The apartment was really wonderful, and the location is unbeatable - - jus a two minute walk to the restaurants and cafes on Ben Yehuda and Yaffo Street, and a short walk to the Old City. We look forward to staying here again.

My family and I have stayed in many rental apartments and villas and this was by far one of the best. The owner Alan and the rental manager went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We arrived to find a large basket of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, cookies, soap, shampoo, extra tooth brushes and toothpatse, coffee, milk, OJ, tea, chargers for phones, washer and dryer with detergent, US plug adapters and even 2 local cell phones for our use. The building is brand new and everything was high end. My friends who were staying at the Citadel paid nearly twice as much for one hotel room and were very jealous of our accommodations. We had 3 bedrooms, livingoom, kitchen with high end appliances, 2 TV’s, etc…

Our family of five stayed in the apartment for 4 nights. We parked our rental car in the basement of the building. The apartment is very modern and came with everything we needed during our stay - soap, shampoo, towels, plates, coffee, milk, OJ, tea, chargers for phones. Alan, the landlord, was incredibly gracious. I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and would stay in it again. Alan invited us to a Shabbat celebration, which regretfully we were unable to attend due due visiting other friends for Shabbat. WiFi worked great as well. It is truly an exceptional apartment, in the heart of Jerusalem, close to the Western Wall as well as the Macheneh Yehuda market.

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) just completed a 4 night stay and it didn't disappoint. The apartment, the building and the location are second to none. We had ample space to spread out and the apartment has all the amenities one could want while visiting Jerusalem. The location is steps away from Jaffa and Ben Yehuda Streets, and ~15-20 minute walks to Mahane Yehuda, Mamila shopping and the old city. Furthermore, it was very easy to coordinate access to the apartment with the apartment managers, Doni and Vangie.  If I find myself in Jerusalem again, I would certainly want to stay here.

Beautiful condo and it was large and roomy. Everything worked great and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty to spare. We really enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in numerous rental apartments in Jerusalem over the years, and this was, hands-down, at the very top. Every aspect of this experience was above our expectations. The perfect setup for a large family!

​Our family of seven fit just right. The property is outstanding, from the large parking spot in the garage to the king-size bed, two twins, double-pullout sofa, and single pullout bed. There was plenty of space, and the apartment was immaculate. There are two bathrooms, including one with a bath tub. The water pressure is fantastic with rainfall shower heads, and we did not run out of hot water. We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine, fresh fruit, and a fridge with the basic necessities. They even include a pair of iPhones so we could all stay connected locally. The location is excellent... right near the tram line and a 15 minute walk to the New Gate or Jaffa Gate. There were restaurants, pubs, and pastry shops near by, as well as small grocery store. The building is totally secure, quiet and clean. So overall, a great stay.

From the first time we contacted the owner, we were so happy with the prompt replies to all of our questions no matter how mundane. Then the magic!!! We walked into this palace of an apartment and it was magical. From the location (right off Jaffa Road) and to the luxury lobby and to the very comfortable accommodations, this is a winner. I actually told the owner I'd stage a sit in---did not want to leave!!! In summary, this place is a 10 PLUS.

This apartment is our favorite. Plenty of room to relax on one of the porches or in the vast living room. The furniture is all high quality and very comfortable. The two bathrooms are spacious with great shower pressure and luxurious. Everything you need is stocked in the apartment plus much more. We stayed for a very hot week and the AC worked great. When it was time to sleep it was so easy falling asleep. Each room has great beds and lots of sunlight, and tons of closet space. The kitchen is perfect. It’s well stocked and easy to use. Anything you may need is there (besides Starbucks). This was our third stay and we love it more each time we come.

​It is no wonder why Alan C. Continues to get 5 star ratings for his Jerusalem apartment! The apartment is gorgeous; large, comfortable, beautifully designed and furnished and stocked with everything one may need. Excellent location, Fabulous apartment

We just had the privilege to stay at this wonderful apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was excellent, and the apartment had many amenities and was very pleasant to stay in. There were lots of little extras that helped make our stay much easier and enjoyable. There were plenty of towels, dishes, paper goods and utensils. Alan was a very friendly and cordial host. I would love to stay again when we visit next year.

Recommended for: People with Disabilities, Tourists without a Car, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.

Beautiful convenient apartment

This is a beautiful unit in a brand new building. The furniture was comfortable and modern. The location truly was walking distance to everything in the center of Jerusalem: Zion Square, Ben Yehuda St., the Old City via the Mamilla Mall. There was someone from management to meet us, and when there was a problem with the hot water, it was taken care of immediately. One thing to note is that one of the bedrooms doubles as a TV room and has a sofa bed, which wasn't clear, to me, from the listing. That room does not have a dresser or closet. The bed itself was comfortable, but did have to be closed each day if anyone wanted to watch TV. I would certainly recommend this to any group of several people looking for a great space in Jerusalem, and would be happy to return to it if I'm fortunate to visit again. The owner, Alan, was easy to make arrangements with in advance, and checked several times to be sure everything was OK. He invited us to stop by and meet him, but time was too short.

Terrific Property! You will not be disappointed!

We booked this property with hopes that the 15 previous positive reviews were a good sign the actual property would be faithful to the pictures and description and we can now say that yes, it is a great apartment. Alan, the owner, could not have been more attentive, both before our arrival and during our stay. I am so glad we stayed here and not in a large hotel with 2 or three rooms for our family. It was great that we didn't have to eat every meal in a restaurant and we must have done 15 loads of laundry during our trip. We traveled as a married couple with 3 children ages 7 and under and one caregiver. The master was very nice. The room we used for the children had two single beds and we were also able to fit in the pack and play, which they provided. I do not think there is room there for a third bed. The third bedroom , which can also be used as a den, features a pull out couch. Everything in the apartment is in very nice condition and the apartment is stocked with extras of everything (e.g., towels, pillows, blankets, paper goods) to make life easy and comfortable. The two iPhones were a big help but you should note that they will only be useful for calling and texting. The data does not work so you cannot check the internet or use apps such as Gett Taxi or Waze to help get around the city. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody traveling to Jerusalem.

Possibly the Best Rental Property in Jerusalem

My family and I traveled to Israel this year for three weeks. We spent the first week and third week at Alan Cohen’s apartment in Jerusalem and loved it. You cannot find a more centrally located apartment in Jerusalem. It is only one short block from the main pedestrian mall area of West Jerusalem, with easy access to numerous shops and restaurants, as well as buses and light rail. It is also only about a 10-minute walk from the Old City. The apartment is spacious and clean, and Alan Cohen is a great host. The refrigerator was stocked with staples when we arrived, so we had no need to go shopping while we recovered from jet lag. He also loaned us two iPhones that were very useful, since my cell phone did not work as I had expected. Finally, Alan was very responsive to my special requests. I use a wheelchair and it was important to me to have a shower chair on wheels in the apartment, so I could use the shower. Alan provided the shower chair on wheels for my use at no extra charge. If we are able to come again to Jerusalem, we will definitely rent this apartment again. Thanks Alan!

The perfect Jerusalem home

If you are looking for a spectacular home in a spectacular Jerusalem location, look no further. Alan and his team overlooked no detail to ensure that our stay was perfect. The space is open, light and welcoming. The location -- at the intersection of Yaffo Street and Ben Yehuda Street -- put us at the center of everything. We were an easy 5-minute walk to Mamilla and 10 minutes to the Yaffo Gate. Ten minutes in the other direction put us at Machene Yehuda. The three bedrooms and ideal location would have been enough to place this home at the top of our list, but Alan and his team went above and beyond the expected by providing us with the use of two iPhones, welcoming us with a bottle of wine and Israeli snacks, stocking the refrigerator with a variety of essentials, and making available an on-site manager 24/7. Two notable features of the home are the washer/dryer (wonderful for an extended stay) and the underground parking (spaces are wider than you'd expect in Israel). In a nutshell, you can feel Alan's hospitality from thousands of miles away. We enthusiastically recommend Alan's home to anyone looking for the best place to stay in Jerusalem.

Spacious, modern and super comfortable!!

Fantastic find! The rooms are spacious; the beds and sitting areas are super comfortable; the kitchen is fully stocked; the building has 24 hour security and a modern fitness room; and, you get a reserved parking space in the underground garage! The owner and his staff went above-and-beyond to anticipate our needs and make our stay easy. They even surprised with us with a welcome basket of fruit/snacks and bottle of wine! The 2 iPhones were an unexpected bonus as were the washer & dryer. It's a great location for people of all ages. We would love to own this property and make it available to our family and friends!! In the meantime, we will simply give it our unconditional recommendation.

During our trip in Israel we travelled to many locations and stayed at luxury hotels across the country. By far, this apartment was a family favorite! It was so nice, that when we moved on to our next location, we were all disappointed with the hotel. 

Alan, you have a gorgeous property with all the conveniences of home. When traveling with 3 kids, that's us extremely important. We also enjoyed walking out of the apartment and being in such a central location to restaurants and shops.

This apartment is beautiful, 5 star fit and finish with everything you need. Great location in the heart of everything. Alan is a great Host, he went out of his way to accommodate us. The little extras add so much. We can't wait to plan our next trip, we already know where we are going to stay!!

This condo is exactly why you shouldn't stay in a hotel! Incredible, stunning home, spacious, airy, great views, very high end features and finishes. More important than the home, the owners were extremely welcoming and helpful to us on our first trip to Jerusalem! We have traveled throughout the world and stayed in very nice homes and hotels and this place compares with the best of the best. We will send our friends here who visit Jerusalem.

This "home" in Jerusalem seriously can't be beat except by Alan with another one!!! So beautiful, so perfectly located, nice front desk people, so new and clean, with everything we could have needed. Grocery right across the street, they make you feel like you live here!!! So many windows, bright Jerusalem sun. We stayed with my father and three of my kids and were so happy and comfortable!! Can't wait to come back and spread out again. And thank you Alan and Bonnie. Your really the best!!

Our family of 6 truly enjoyed this amazing apartment. Everyone was very comfortable and the apartment was very modern and spotless. The kitchen and bathrooms were great and very spacious. The amazing host met with us upon our arrival and explained everything in great detail. We were completely taken by how nice and pleasant the owner was. Don't hesitate for a second. This is a great place in a perfect location! We can't wait to come back to Jerusalem and stay in this amazing place again.

Alan was a fantastic host who stopped by the first day to make sure everything was in order. Every detail was designed for luxury and comfort. From the luxurious beddings to the first-rate beds to the full gourmet kitchen down to the last details including providing soaps, shampoos, luxury towels,paper goods, and even basic food stuffs so we would not need to shop as soon as we arrived. The lighting and open concept kitchen/living room/dining room were magnificent. The location was awesome. Right in the heart of Jerusalem off of Ben Yehudah street and a short walk to the Mamilla mall, Old City and the Shuk. We look forward to our next trip and staying in this fantastic apartment.

We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. The apartment was spotless upon our arrival. The location is the best in all of Jerusalem. We loved being 50 steps from Jaffa Rd and a couple more steps from Ben Yehuda St. The Old City is an easy 20 minute walk. I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Jerusalem. All of us (2 adults and 3 young adults) much preferred the ease, location, and space over The King David. We look forward to staying here whenever we are in Jerusalem.

An absolutely Amazing, first class property

There is a synagogue right across the street and it is a 10 minute walk to the Old City. You could not ask for a better location. It is also on the quiet side of the building and looks out over a lovely park and garden restaurant. We can not imagine staying anywhere else after experiencing this apartment. it is five star luxury with all the conveniences of home. The Master bedroom felt like the St Regis and the master bathroom is beautiful. the furniture, beds, linens are all top of the line. Alan has taken care of it as if it was his personal home. The only down side is you will never want to stay anywhere else again and once the secret is out, it will be hard to find an open date.

The 24 hour security building with Shabbat elevator, provides residents with amenities such as a fitness room, business club, magnificent entrance lobby, and an underground parking lot. The patio area, where you can sit and have a chat, opens onto the garden and patio of the Anna Ticho House museum and café. 

In the heart of the city, with all its alleyways and side streets is being re-discovered in the place that Jaffa Road joins up with the bustling Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall.  A Jerusalem light rail stop is just around the cornor from 7 Kook Street or within minutes you can be walking through the Jaffa Gate at the Old City or strolling through the Mamilla luxury mall.  An abundance of galleries, restaurants, cafes, parks, cultural and educational centers are all within walking distance.  Including the Old City and the Kotel ( Western Wall).
